I’ve had a great time with Freya during my IANTD tek sidemount course and the fun dives that followed. She was incredibly attentive and offered continuous tips on improving my skills. Anne-Laure and Author were a pleasure to deal with while organising all the details for the diving and helped me choose the right course for my skill level. I’m already planning my next dive training with them. Highly recommended.

Came across Elite Divers dive shop on scuba board cause we were looking out for diving as a family after getting certified! As most of I did my research too and came up with areas to dive in. Reached out to other dive shops as well but stuck with this shop cause of the team. Arthur was so direct and did a 30min consultation call with us before letting us know what is and is not possible. No sugar coat straight up facts and was great cause he just wanted us to be 100% safe. Co run by his wife who was very prompt with other details and coordination of our daily dives. Followed up by our dive instructor Freya who was a complete star and extremely patient and caring of us and our needs and making sure we were having a good time and which we did. I would highly recommend this dive shop if looking dive in Mexico east area. Very knowledgeable and safety first shop!

The moment I realized Elite Divers International is not just another dive center wasn’t during a briefing, it was underwater, in a situation where my own limits became very clear.I did my full progression here, from Essentials all the way to Technical Full Cave (including deco). What stands out is not just the quality of a single course, but the consistency across the entire training path. Everything builds on the previous step. Nothing feels rushed, and nothing is handed to you!This training is not always comfortable! And that’s exactly the point. I had moments of real frustration with myself, where things didn’t click, where progress felt slow, and where I had to confront my own weaknesses. But instead of being pushed through, I was challenged to actually improve.Mistakes are not ignored or quickly patched over, they’re broken down, understood, and corrected properly. Standards are not suggestions here. I spent three amazing weeks with Elite Divers International, completing two courses, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.From day one, I felt completely comfortable. EDI is great. Nice staff and good gear. They accommodated my Garmin transmitter without issue. Provided me coffee while I waited. Shawn is truly elite in his diving and photography instruction. It was my first time in the cenotes and they delivered.
