If you’re in Playa Del Carmen and want to go diving, Elite Divers International is the go to shop. I spent four days with Arthur, Anne, and the team. My main focus was training and I also did guided dives. They do both extremely well. Booking was simple and organized. Communication was excellent. They kept me informed of the daily plan and any changes, responded quickly, and were always happy to answer questions. The whole team is professional, enthusiastic, and generous with their time. They were always ready to answer questions about gear, configurations, dive planning, local conditions, the area, and more. They went above and beyond to help me reach my goals and do an amazing job adapting instruction to strengths and weaknesses of students. They are able to diagnose issues/areas for improvement and give feedback in real time so you can make adjustments and get more out of training. Briefings were thorough and I really enjoyed learning about the cenote history. If you care about top tier training or high quality guided dives, then this is the shop for you.

Diving with the best I’ve just finished two amazing days diving with Elite Divers International and cannot recommend them enough. A truly excellent company.

Day 1 was bull shark and reef dives. The sharks are amazing creatures, and the diving helps with conservation, preventing them from being fished. Mark, my instructor, was great, with clear instructions and very friendly. A must-do at least once.

Day 2, I did two cenote dives. Oh wow! Two of the greatest dives of my life. Anne-Laura was my guide, and I felt safe and in control with her supervision.

I’m not a technical diver but always want to improve my diving skills. Elite offered great feedback and support, and I would recommend them for anyone intermediate or up.

The briefings are informative and entertaining, and you are diving with some of the best in the business. I will be back to dive more cenotes and, without a doubt, would use EDI next time.

I had a wonderful experience with Elite Divers! The booking process was very well organized and smooth. The rental equipment was all top notch. Mark was my dive guide. He was very friendly and gave detailed and excellent briefings. He did a great job of pointing out interesting things to see during the dives. I did one day of Cenote diving, which was magical. I went diving with the bull sharks on the second day. They are truly mesmerizing and peaceful animals. I highly recommend Elite Divers and definitely plan to dive with them again next time I’m in the area!

Attained my SDI Open Water licence with Elite Divers. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. It is an intense four days of learning and skills development to put us in great shape to be confident divers going forward. You really helped put us at ease throughout, for what is initially a slightly daunting and alien experience. I now have the confidence to dive in open water and control my breathing.
