Attained my SDI Open Water licence with Elite Divers. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. It is an intense four days of learning and skills development to put us in great shape to be confident divers going forward. You really helped put us at ease throughout, for what is initially a slightly daunting and alien experience. I now have the confidence to dive in open water and control my breathing. The communication throughout has been really helpful, always available, and I know I can come back to you in the future with questions and concerns. We are now part of the family. My dive buddy and I just completed our Cavern and Intro to Cave certifications with Elite Divers International (EDI) in Playa del Carmen, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. This was some of the most challenging and rewarding training we’ve ever done, and EDI exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the very start, EDI impressed us with their organisation, attention to detail, and professionalism. Every training day was structured, purposeful, and tailored to help us succeed. The quality of the rental gear was top-tier, well-maintained, and instilled confidence in a demanding overhead environment. A huge thank-you to Anne-Laure, Arthur, Shawn, and Marc, each of them brought exceptional knowledge, skill, and patience to the experience. They created a training environment that was both challenging and supportive, pushing us to perform at our best while ensuring we always felt safe and informed. Their ability to communicate complex skills and safety procedures clearly made a real difference. A special mention goes to Shawn, who not only guided us with professionalism and expertise but also accompanied us as a talented professional photographer. He captured breathtaking photos and videos, images that perfectly reflect both the beauty of the cenotes and the intensity of the experience. Thanks to him, we now have an incredible collection of memories that we’ll treasure forever. EDI also went above and beyond by helping organise activities for the snorkelling and open-water diving members of our group. Their guidance and local knowledge helped make the entire trip memorable for everyone, not just those in training. If you’re considering cavern or cave training, or any kind of diving experience in the region, we can’t recommend EDI highly enough. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for their divers set a gold standard. We left with new skills, new confidence, and incredible memories. We’ll definitely be back.

I was very impressed after three days of diving with Elite Dive Center — the professionalism, the excellent service, and the incredible dives. Highly recommended.

A solid 5-star dive shop. The diving was incredible and much better in real life than on the videos - on par if not better than the best ocean diving livaboards out there. As an advanced open water certified diver with a limited amount of experience, I did eight dives over four days to get a good feel for what the cenotes have to offer, and each of them is truly unique and offer their own charm and adventure - very difficult to rank. For first time cenote divers, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. Both of the dive guides (Mark and Shawn) that worked with me throughout the week were very friendly, patient and accommodating. I also got some useful pointers on how to improve my diving. The days were efficiently run, with pick-up being very punctual and at a reasonable time (8:30), and drop-off between 1pm to 3pm depending on distance travelled, allowing for good post-dive rest and other interests. Anne-Laure managed all of the admin and logistics, and the customer service was second to none. Very clear, comprehensive and prompt communication, and no issues with pricing or receiving confirmation of any payments in advance. All in all, the service served for a very stress free and convenient holiday. If or when I return, I would definitely use EDI again, and I can highly recommend them for guided recreational cenote diving.
