WHY CHOOSE US?

We have been asked many times, “Why should I choose you?” With so many companies, that is a very good question.
Our answer would be : you shouldn’t unless what we offer is right for you and meets your needs.

We usually not comparing ourselves to others commercial tour agencies but we’d be happy to point out the differences you will find with our services.

1) Early departure.

Our captains are ready to leave Punta Sam from 6AM versus 7H30 – 8AM with other companies.
Our boats are among the first ones on site and spotting the whale sharks aggregation for the whole community. If we’re lucky to spot them first, we’d be happy to enjoy an hour alone with them. Another advantage to be first on site is that we are more likely to have more individuals – they start diving deep the more boats coming on the site. In other words, first in, best dressed.
If we spot them later, we usually stay later on site in order to swim alone with the whale sharks once the other boats are gone (most of them have a limited time of 3 hours on site).

2) We are proud of our  « à la carte » Breakfast Menu, freshly made in the morning by our french chef in comparison to a standard Continental Buffet across the commercial tour agencies.

3) We have a maximum of 8 people per boat versus 10 people.

4) Commercial tour agencies guarantee 2 jumps (of 10 minutes) / person versus no jump limitations with us as long as it is within the authorized amount of time on site.

4) Marine Park Taxes are included with us.

5) Photo/ Videos footages included with us versus an additional fee with commercial tour agencies.

6) Tequila & beers to celebrate are included with us versus only soft drinks included with commercial tour agencies.

7) Our instructors/ guides are paid properly, they can make a living from their passion and not just a seasonal job. Hence they are not trained to push for extra sales such as photo packages/ T- shirts etc. and get commissions on it since everything is already included.

8) What we see most (if not all) of the commercial tour companies do, is significantly lower the prices that they pay to the providers (the boats and transportation), to the point that those providers actually lose money, and so they see themselves forced to reduce the salaries of their crew and lower the quality of their service. These providers (especially the ones in whale shark) depend highly/fully on tour companies for clients.
Since we have worked with our crew for years, we have come to know them well, and we have seen and experienced first hand how much they have suffered in the past covid tourism crisis and actual inflation.
We highly respect our captains, drivers and crew, everybody gets a more than fair pay and therefore they love working with us and provide us with the best possible quality for our guests, and this way everybody benefits from it fairly. We treat them like family.
That’s why our prices have risen a bit compared to last year due to the inflation and fuel prices (we have tried to limit this as much as we could), but it also results in an even higher service and quality than ever before.

That’s who we are, what we’re offering, and how we’re different. We might be a bit more expensive, but you will understand why. We sincerely hope that you will come and experience what we have to offer.
